Someone died earlier this semester, but it didn't really affect me as much as hearing about the death of Travis Williams. I don't know him personally, but the circumstances of it are what struck me as so sad. He was trying to break up a fight and got assaulted and seriously injured. And I don't think I'll ever get over how strange that is. I never really liked cell phones and I still don't - my parents wanted me to get one, they thought it'd make things easier for communication while I'm up in Chico. I was about 120 pages into Shadow of the Giant today when my new digital camera arrived. I brought it upstairs right when it came but I didn't have time to play with it until just now.
